According to filings in the US state of Nevada, Musk has established a new artificial intelligence company called X.AI in the state. Recently, Musk created a shell company called "X", which packaged all the companies he owned, such as Twitter, SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, etc., into it.Now, "X" company has added a newcomer, X.AI, and is going to compete with OpenAI.
According to Nevada filings, Musk is the sole director of X.AI, while Jared Bichar, director of the Musk family office, is the company's secretary.
In addition, news shows that Musk is recruiting engineers from top AI laboratories including DeepMind. So far, Musk has managed to bring in former DeepMind employee Igor Babuschkin, as well as about half a dozen other engineers. Subsequent X.AI can also use Twitter content as data to train its language model and obtain computing resources from Tesla
